Pope Pius XII Assembly was formed in 1958. As the number of Sir Knights increased in the Easton Area and the addition of the Bangor and Nazareth Councils it was deemed prudent to form an Assembly in the local area. With the approval of Supreme, the Assembly was formed and the Associated Councils were Union Council 345, Easton, Father DeNisco Council 3862, Bangor, Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Council 4282, Nazareth, Father Stommel Council 4545, Haycock and Cardinal Strich Council 4649, Quakertown and the most recent addition St Rocco's Council 14082,Martin Creek.
The Assembly meets the 3rd Thursday of Each month, except December, rotating the meeting sites among the supporting Councils areas. An Annual Dinner meeting for the members is held in November of each year at a selected site for the members.
The Assembly also has a voluntary Chalice Fund for the members who wish to participate. In the event of the death of a Fund member, a Chalice is supplied to the Family, to be donated to a priest or church at the request of the Deceased Sir Knights family, or if no such request is made it will be donated to the missionaries, in memory of the Sir Knight. The Chalice is also displayed at the wake of the deceased Sir Knight. At the request of the family of a deceased member the Assembly will also provide for a Honor Guard at the wake of a deceased member.
The Assembly is an active participant in the RSVP program, which provides funds for young men in the seminary with annual funding to assist the young men meet some of their personal expenses during their years in the seminaries.
